LOL! I was actually an excellent sight reader back in my piano lesson days, altho my teacher didn’t realize it – she just thought I was a so-so pianist. 😀
Hee, I was a decent sight reader, but since I was also a crappy practicer, I was occasionally still sight reading on the third lesson.
ROFL! Yeah, that’s about right. Even my six months or so of piano class was enough to teach me that practicing as much as I could was the way to go. 😀

Not sure how much practice will help when the music is notated “release the penguins.” The fine print on that sheet is too much.
