When book covers interact

I redid my front page yesterday, celebrating Blood on the Mountain. I parked that cover next to Fall Down the Mountain, but had to shuffle them, because of a little accidental interaction. The first time around it looked like this:

Eden Winters came by to check my progress fighting with code. She took one look and asked, “Is Kurt checking out Allan’s package or Mark’s butt?”

What has been seen can never be unseen. Since Kurt would never do such a thing, I swapped them.

  1. ROFL. Either that totally went past me, or I didn’t see it until you had switched things around.

    • I got the ogling down almost as fast as it went up, because once Eden pointed it out, that’s all I could see. It’s so OOC for Kurt to check out other guys.

      • Yeah, that definitely doesn’t sound like him. Also, allow me to take this opportunity to squee again. I didn’t realize Blood on the Mountain would be coming so soon.

  2. Hehe… that’s all I can see now – besides the great covers, of course.

  3. All I can think of when I see the Blood on the Mountain cover is a line from the song “Existential Blues”: “Poppies! Poppies! Poppies!”

  4. How funny! I love the way your covers all follow a theme, too.
