Want to read some great stories? Meet some new authors, or revisit old friends? Here’s your chance!
Eden Winters and I and some other amazing authors have goodies for you. Pop on over for a complete listing of the great stories available to you.
I’m giving away Prep Work, because I need to get stoked to write the next section of their adventure. Have some snark and good food, plus sexy times.
(Eden and I do ask that you sign up for the Rocky Ridge newsletter. No matter if you sign up for both our books or are already on that mailing list, you’ll still only get one newsletter once in a while.)
Apparently I am a p*rn*grapher now. Second edition of Prep Work, a short romance some of you may have seen with a Dreamspinner line cover, has been given a cooking themed cover. Well, I don’t think he should try frying bacon in that outfit, but all the essentials are covered. Usually no one makes a fuss about man-nipples, and the rest is covered. Kinda. Sorta. But Barnes & Noble and Kobo and Apple think it’s too naughty to sell on their sites. (Never mind that they sell dino-smut.)
I’m not sure if I should appeal, or if I can appeal, or if I should attempt an end run once Prep Work passes the preorder period. Or if I should rethink the cover entirely. I don’t want to do that. Tommy as he appears now is kinda cute.
See the offending cover at Amazon (mobi) or at All Romance eBooks (mobi, PDF, and ePub.) I have to Jan 17 to figure it out.
Cryselle put up a prompt pic that just screamed Tommy! from my Dreamspinner short, Prep Work. Of course, I had to think what scene might go with it for the Thousand Word Thursday feature she runs here on her blog.
I certainly don’t find anyone like that lurking in my kitchen, but Jude Marshall is luckier. Here’s a little ficlet to tell the tale.
Talk about new release jitters! Prep Work goes live tomorrow — it’s my first story out with Dreamspinner, so there are all sorts of things to do.
Check out an interview with Tommy on Leontine’s Book Realm, and if you haven’t been over to Stumbling Over Chaos to enter the giveaway, you are running out of time — the entry period ends tonight!
There’s something I should be doing…. Updating a blog page, maybe?
Take a look at Stumbling Over Chaos — I’m giving away a copy of my new story. Leave a comment saying you’re interested, and you could be the first on your block to read about Jude and Tommy. Prep Work will be out on August 17th from Dreamspinner; you’ll want to know what these two do in the kitchen and in the bedroom — or if they ever manage to get there.
Celebrity chef Jude Marshall’s ditched his camera crew for the first time in a month—he’s been eating his way through local cuisines on several continents for his television show. No spider-on-a-stick this trip, thank God. Jude’s exhausted; all he wants on his London layover is a pint of beer and some comfort food. Stumbling into a gastro-pub, Jude instead finds haute cuisine; his grumbles bring him face to face with chef—and fan—Tommy Bell.
When Jude steps into the kitchen to autograph Tommy’s copy of his cookbook, he finds himself lending a hand, and discovers it’s possible to tenderize a hardened heart.
Check here for an excerpt–you’ll be wanting a pint at The Good Man as much as Jude does.
